Three rescued from Dublin house fire

Two men and a woman were rescued from a house fire in Dublin in the early hours of this morning

Two men and a woman were rescued from a house fire in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.Emergency services were alerted to the fire, which had broken out at a house in Connacht Street in Phibsboro, around 4 a.m.

Up to four fire tenders attended the scene. Three people were rescued from the house and brought to the Mater Hospital, where they were treated for smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
