Toddler killed in Kerry accident

A two-year old boy was killed in an accident in Kerry, it emerged tonight.

A two-year old boy was killed in an accident in Kerry, it emerged tonight.

The accident involved a stationary car which was outside the boy's home in Ballyfinan, near Farranfore.

It is believed the boy hit his head against the window of the car when he was trying to get a toy.

The body has been removed to Tralee general hospital, where a post-mortem examination is being carried out.

A Garda spokeswoman said an investigation report was being drawn up, but the death is believed to be the result of a tragic accident.
