The chairman of Bord Failte, Mr Padraig O hUiginn, has had his term of office extended until the end of the year. Mr O hUiginn, who is a former Secretary of the Department of the Taoiseach, was due to retire at the end of March but the Minister for Tourism and Trade, Mr Kenny, has now extended his appointment for another nine months.
