Transport strike to hit commuters

PARIS - Paris commuters face disruption of train and underground services today, due to a strike by metro workers which will cut trains by up to a half. Bus services will run at 80 per cent of capacity, but metro and suburban trains will be cut by half due to the strike, called to protest against threats to job security and salary levels.
