A house was petrol-bombed in Glengormley on the outskirts of north Belfast yesterday. Extensive damage was caused after the bomb was thrown through the living-room window at 5.40 a.m. A family of five, who had been living in the property only for a few days, escaped unhurt.

The attack is being linked to the Travelling community. A spokeswoman for the Belfast Travellers' Sites Project, Ms Mary McMahon, said she was aware of a feud among a small number of people.
