Trintech reports 21% rise in revenues

Secure payments firm Trintech today reported a revenue growth of 21 per cent in the three months to April 30th, 2004.

Secure payments firm Trintech today reported a revenue growth of 21 per cent in the three months to April 30th, 2004.

In a statement this morning the company said revenues were $12.4 million resulting in net profits of $84,000. Adjusted EBITDA net income was $594,000.

Gross margins expanded from 59 per cent in the previous quarter to 63 per cent. Chairman and chief executive Mr Cyril McGuire described the figures as "a solid set of results".

Product revenue was up 40 per cent at $3.6 million compared with the corresponding quarter last year.

License revenue declined marginally, down 1 per cent to 5.4 million compared with the same three-month period in 2003.

However, service revenue was ahead 55 per cent to 3.3 million over the same period, due in part to post-acquisition revenues from the DataFlow Services business.
