The UK's first triple transplant patient is to marry his childhood sweetheart today. Mr Haldene Butler (23), from Omagh, Co Tyrone, will marry Ms Julie Feathers from Newtownstewart.
Mr Butler, who was suffering from an advanced form of cancer, had a "last chance" liver, pancreas and small bowel transplant in March at St James's Hospital in Leeds. He was the first person in the UK to undergo such a triple transplant.
