A trucker was jailed for three months yesterday after a court was told how he used his 38-tonne laden vehicle to intimidate another motorist, forcing him to stop on the hard shoulder of a motorway.
Michael McDonnell (47), of Railway Crescent, Newtownbutler, Co Fermanagh, had used his articulated truck "like a battering ram" to intimidate a couple who were driving their car along the M1 in March this year, said Judge Gerard Haughton.
