An estimated 39 people were buried by a massive landslide in southwest China's Yunnan province today, the state press agency has said.
The Xinhua news agency said two bodies had been recovered while four people were injured. The others remained missing.
The landslide occurred at just before lunch time Irish at a small village in Yanjin County, according to local official sources.
A separate landslide in Yunnan province killed six people and seriously injured two others on Saturday, state press said.
