Two people have been killed in a two-car crash in Co Antrim.

Two people have been killed in a two-car crash in Co Antrim.

The man and a woman were in a car that collided with another car near the Royal Court hotel on the Ballybogy Road outside Portrush at around 2.15am.

Three other people in the car were hurt - a women who was critically injured and two men whose condition was described as serious.

The driver of the second vehicle was also injured.

Twenty-six people have been killed on Northern Ireland's roads so far this year.
