Istanbul - A woman suicide bomber killed herself and one other person in central Istanbul yesterday. At least 15 people were injured.
A police officer said the woman carrying the explosives had approached police on Gumussuyu Street near Istanbul's main Taksim square before detonating the device. Witnesses reported a large explosion with debris and blood strewn across the street. The motive for the attack was not immediately clear.
