Two men are to appear in court tomorrow morning in connection with a €2.4million heroin seizure in Co Kildare.
About 12kg of the drug was seized by gardaí yesterday after a number of cars were stopped and searched off the Naas Road near Kill.
The seizure was part of an ongoing investigation into organised crime in Dublin by the Garda National Drugs Unit.
Four men, three in their 20s and another man aged 51, were arrested at the scene.

They were detained under section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
Two of the men aged in their 20s are to appear at the Criminal Courts complex on Parkgate Street at 10.30am tomorrow.
