Gardaí in Blanchardstown are investigating an overnight attack that left two men in hospital with stab wounds.

Gardaí in Blanchardstown are investigating an overnight attack that left two men in hospital with stab wounds.

The two men, who are understood to be from the area, were attacked in the Fortlan Park area after they were approached by a group of men.

They were brought to James Connolly Memorial Hospital where their injuries have been described as not life-threatening.

Gardai are seeking a motive for the attack.
