Gardaí have arrested two men and seized a quantity of drugs following an operation in Limerick on Saturday.
Gardaí stopped and searched a car on Ballysimon Road, in Limerick city.
They discovered 3.5kg of cocaine and 3kg of amphetamine. The total street value of the seizure, subject to analysis, could be close to €300,000.
The two occupants, both men in their 20s, were arrested and are still detained at Henry Street and Roxboro Road Garda stations.
