Two young people were shot dead by a 19-year-old at a Scout group anniversary party in Belgium early on Sunday.
The victims, 21 and 23, had argued with the killer before he pulled a gun and opened fire at close range at the party attended by some 5,000 people in the town of Sint-Katelijne Waver north of Brussels.
The gunman was almost immediately arrested. A spokesman for the Belgian Scouts' federation told Belgian VRT radio neither the victims nor the killer had any ties with the local Scout group.
