A Co Tyrone materials handling company is more than doubling its workforce as part of a £3million plus expansion scheme, it was announced today.

Telestack a leading developer of innovative conveyor systems used in quarrying, mining and bulk materials handling is also moving to a new 43,000 sq ft manufacturing plant at Invest Northern Ireland's Doogary Industrial Estate in Omagh.

The move will create an initial additional 32 jobs — raising the total to 50 — and develop the company's capability to service export markets in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and South America.

Invest NI has offered almost £620,000 worth of assistance towards the total £3.2 million project.
