A memorial in Co Tyrone to eight British soldiers killed in an IRA bomb attack has been destroyed by fire, police said.
The memorial was vandalised overnight, and wreaths that were laid at it were strewn across the Omagh-Ballygawley Road, a spokesman said.
The memorial was erected at the spot where eight soldiers were killed and 27 injured when the IRA blew up a bus on August 20th, 1988.
