The memorial was vandalised overnight, and wreaths that were laid at it were strewn across the Omagh-Ballygawley Road, a spokesman said.

The memorial was erected at the spot where eight soldiers were killed and 27 injured when the IRA blew up a bus on August 20th, 1988.
