Three Dublin universities will benefit from a £12

Three Dublin universities will benefit from a £12.5 million investment which is hoped will create over 2,000 places in the information technology area. The investment has been approved by the Minister for Education and Science, Mr Martin.

An initial £3 million will be granted to Dublin City University for building a computer science/library building, that will create an additional 1,200 places.

Trinity College Dublin will receive £5 million pounds to build an information technology building, which will create a minimum of 500 additional places.

University College Dublin is to get £4 1/2 million for the second phase of a computer science building, which will create 450 additional places.
