Controversial American pop star Michael Jackson flew into Cork this afternoon.
The self-styled 'Prince of Pop' was accompanied by his children on a flight from Paris.
It was reported that Jackson (47), who was cleared last June of criminal charges of sexually abusing a boy at his Neverland Valley Ranch, would be staying with Riverdance and Lord of the Dance star Michael Flatley.
Jackson's last visit to Cork was in 1988 when he played to some 130,000 people over two night in Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
