Opponents of sanctions on Iraq are holding a vigil at the US embassy on Christmas Day as an "act of solidarity" with the Iraqi people. The vigil, which takes place between noon and 1 p.m., is organised by AfrI and the Campaign to End Iraq Sanctions.
