London - A renewed appeal for witnesses in the investigation of the murder of BBC presenter Jill Dando more than three weeks ago has led police to believe a man they want to question was disturbed by a traffic warden shortly before the murder, Rachel Donnelly reports.
A reconstruction of the crime was featured in the BBC's Crimewatch UK programme this week and viewers saw the traffic warden explain that she spotted a car illegally parked on Gowan Avenue where the presenter lived. She began taking down the car's registration number when she noticed a man sitting inside who then tapped the car window and urged her to move away.
