MAYO – FESTIVAL
The two-day Inishbiggle Festival takes place tomorrow and Sunday on the Mayo island, and celebrates Irish culture. There will also be sailing events, guided tours of the island and sports competitions. achilltourism.com

BELFAST – FASHION
On the second Sunday of every month the Fashion Souk is an event run at the Ulster Hall, offering the best of locally made fashion and ethical consumerism. It features more than 60 stalls to suit every budget level. It takes place this Sunday at 1pm. thefashionsouk.com
SLIGO – FESTIVAL
The Mullaghmore Maritime Festival takes place this weekend with a range of events including fishing, dancing and a woman’s fun day on Sunday which incorporates free water skiing. There are also plenty of activities for young visitors.

CORK – THEATRE
A production of Runa Monro's Bold Girlsruns until August 20th at the Cork Arts Theatre and looks at domestic lives in Belfast in the early 1990s. It stars Martina Carroll and Antoinette Hilliard. Tickets are €15/€12, or two for €20, Monday to Wednesday. corkartstheatre.com
CORK – YOGA
This Sunday, a monthly class in restorative yoga takes place at the Yoga Loft near Blackrock, and is aimed at all those who need a little extra downtime. Class sizes are limited and the emphasis is on relaxation. It runs from 6pm to 8pm.
