Leighton Glynn has been declared fit to line out for Wicklow in Saturday's Leinster SFC quarter-final against Laois.

Leighton Glynn has been declared fit to line out for Wicklow in Saturday's Leinster SFC quarter-final against Laois.

Glynn had been a doubt after injuring his calf muscle during Wicklow's historic first championship win at Croke Park when they defeated neighbours Kildare.

"I've been getting a lot of treatment on it, physio and other alternatives, but I'll be alright," said the Rathnew club man.

"I got a kick and I thought it would be okay but it was my own doing, really, because I trained on the Wednesday night after the Kildare game when I should have been resting it."

Elsewhere Willie Ryan is a serious doubt for Tipperary's Munster SHC semi-final against Cork at Pairc Ui Chaoimh on Sunday week.

The corner forward, who scored 1-1 in the National League final win over Galway, suffered a dead leg while playing for Toomevara in a North Tipp league game against Roscrea on Tuesday.
