A case against a Dublin man accused of murdering his wife is being delayed because of queries over forensic evidence, a court heard yesterday.

A book of evidence was due to be served yesterday on Mr David Murphy (35), of Munster St, Phibsboro, on a charge of murdering his wife, Patricia, on May 28th last year.that queries had arisen about the very complicated forensic evidence and she asked for a further two months for the case to be completed.

Defence solicitor Ms Jenny McKeever said there was no objection as long as the book would then be ready. Judge Gerard Haughton remanded Mr Murphy on continuing bail of Pounds 3,000 to appear on September 11th.
