Gardai in Dublin are seeking witness to a traffic accident in which two young people were killed. The accident, which happened at 12.50 a.m yesterday on the M1 between the Coolock and the Santry flyovers, involved a lorry travelling north and a car.
The car is said to have travelled over the grass verge between the north and south bound lanes, colliding with the lorry. Both occupants of the car, a 26-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man, were killed. The driver of the lorry has been interviewed by gardai.
