Tyrone fan Aiden Mullen (35) drowned after the All Ireland Football quarter-final at Croke Park.

At approximately 3.40am, on July 31st, a group of people Mr Mullen was with were waiting on Burgh Quay to get a taxis home when Mr Mullen left the group and walked over to the River Liffey wall. He fell into the river and his brother then jumped in to try and rescue him.

Gardaí said both men got in to trouble in the water and three passers by also jumped in to help. Five units of Dublin Fire Brigade later brought four people from the water.
