An 81-year-old woman has been killed in a car crash on the N3 at Ross, near Tara, Co Meath.
The accident happened at around 12.30 p.m. when the woman's car was travelling towards Dublin and struck another car driving in the opposite direction.
The male driver of the second vehicle has been taken to Beaumont Hospital. Gardaí in Navan are investigating.
