Nine people are feared dead after a small business jet crashed into an Ohio apartment building on Tuesday.

The authorities have confirmed two deaths but say they are not expecting any survivors after the crash in Akron.

The Akron fire department says investigators are trying to independently determine how many people were on the 10-seat plane when it went down.

Plane owner Augusto Lewkowicz says two pilots and seven passengers were on the flight from Dayton to Akron Fulton International Airport, two miles from where the crash happened.
