The failure of the EU's Beef Management Committee to take a decision to increase the level of refunds on exports to third countries at yesterday's meeting was a disappointment, the Minister for Agriculture, Mr Yates, said.
The Minister said he had put a strong case to the EU Commissioner that the EU was losing its competitive position in certain vital markets.
