Darmstadt - A German court sentenced three American teenagers to long jail terms yesterday for the murder of two women motorists killed by rocks thrown from a motorway bridge on to traffic below.
The youths, one 15 years old and the other two 18, were sentenced to between seven and 8-1/2 years in jail for the offence, which happened near a US military base.
Two women, aged 20 and 41, driving separate cars, were killed in February when the football-sized stones smashed their windows and sent their cars spinning out of control.
