Hundreds of Yugoslav army reservists mutinied yesterday, declaring they would not fight in Montenegro nor against their own Serbian people to keep President Milosevic in power.

Three hundred reservists protesting against a recent call-up approved the ultimatum given to a high level Yugoslav army delegation in the central Serbian town of Kraljevo.

The reservists have been protesting for a week about their mobilisation. Some have fought in all three of Yugoslavia's last wars - Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo. Last night, more than 10,000 people packed the city's central square to show their support for the reservists.
