The satirical column by Newton Emerson in yesterday’s edition stated that Social Justice Ireland had proposed a 33 cent tax on text messages.

In fact, the organisation, in its suggestions on the coming budget, suggested a one-third of a cent tax on text messages. The column also incorrectly described Social Justice Ireland as a Catholic organisation.
