Sir, – With the violent events at Dublin Airport, surely there is a case to be made for banning alcohol sales at all airports and indeed on flights worldwide (“One man arrested, another hospitalised after fight at terminal”, News, May 25th).
Regularly around the world, and even here, we hear of aircraft having to be diverted because of drink-related incidents.
When a flight has to be diverted and drink-fuelled passengers have to be removed, there should be an international ban on allowing these people to travel again.
If they can’t travel to their destination or get home, then let them swim if necessary. – Yours, etc,
