Please can the Department of Education release a definitive date for the Leaving Certificate results? The indecision to date is laughable and another example of the Civil Service, which is funded by the taxpayer, failing to make a timely decision.
These school-leavers want to move on from second-level education. However, many may have to defer university abroad for a year unless the results are released before the end of August or early September.
The UK and other EU countries have returned to normal results schedules.

Yet the Department of Education cannot even pick a date to release the results, let alone return to the old schedule of mid-August.
