Sir, – Philip Cody (Letters June 24th) writes about his dad’s Peugeot 504. My mother drove seven of us, including the baby in his carry-cot, and our neighbour with her large basket of eggs for the market, all in her trusty Fiat 600 (known as “the little grey mouse”).
