Sir, – I wonder is it time that legislation be proposed to protect the right of people to use cash in financial transactions. So many shops and service providers will only take cards. I believe the choice to pay by cash should be an option in all financial transactions. Maybe the option to pay in cash should be protected in law so people have the choice of what means they choose to pay for goods or services. – Yours, etc,
GAIL HANBIDGE,
Coolkenno,
Co Wicklow.
