Sir, – I note from “Navan hospital changes to be reviewed”, News, August 16th) that the HSE is relying once again on a favoured tried-and-tested process of reviewing a clinical decision which had been agreed but which the Minister for Health wasn’t happy about! I note that the 17-person group will report “within a few weeks”. With such an open-ended target time and the size of the review group, it will be interesting to see what happens eventually.
