Sir, – I am delighted to see Michael Harding’s column restored to its former “banner” position on your Life page ( August 24th).
Since he moved from this perspective in February 2020, I have found it both cumbersome and disruptive to my reading, having to unfold my paper in full in the often tight confines of my coffee shop.
My regular “go to space” for mid-week reflection and enlightenment was all the more accessible and flowing. – Yours, etc,
