Sir, – I have just renewed my TV licence online and have been advised that the printed licence will be with me within 10 days. This licence must be printed, put in an envelope, posted and delivered. What a complete waste of time. Surely a digital licence (or a simple receipt) could be generated and emailed automatically, instead of this time-consuming, wasteful, and expensive process? – Yours, etc,
