Sir, – The Coalition agreement provides for the rotation of the Taoiseach and Minister for Finance positions between Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael in December. Fine Gael sources are now claiming that it is in the national interest to defer the changeover of the Minister for Finance. Perhaps Fine Gael might consider deferring the rotation of the Taoiseach in the spirit of honouring the Coalition agreement? – Yours, etc,
