Sir, – Justine McCarthy (“The young emigrate yet the golden circle continues”, Opinion & Analysis, September 16th) referred to Catherine Murphy’s “tenacious questioning in the Dáil” about the Siteserv transaction.
She might have added, for the sake of completeness, that not a single one of the innuendos and allegations made by Ms Murphy about the conduct of the bank, its directors, senior management and line staff was substantiated by the commission of investigation. – Yours, etc,
