Sir, – Interesting article from Fintan O’Toole in Opinion (September 20th), “I am very glad to be a citizen, not a subject”.
I agree with much of what was written. Just one snag. Holders of UK passports are now referred to as citizens, not subjects. Times changed during the second Elizabethan era. – Yours, etc,
