Sir, – Further to “HSE computers only monitored for viruses during daytime hours prior to cyberattack, report reveals” (News, September 30th), as a taxpayer who pays his bit toward the €100 million cost of the cyberattack on the HSE, could I appeal to those minded to hack into the HSE’s system to show a bit of consideration? Please have the goodness to launch your attacks between the hours of 8am and 6pm. – Yours, etc,
