Sir, – This year I sent an email letter to the Minister for Transport regarding continuing problems obtaining an NCT appointment. The letter was forwarded, without reply, to the Minister of State for Transport. The letter was then again forwarded, without reply, to a staff member. This person finally replied, only to inform me I had to contact the Road Safety Authority for information. The problems with obtaining an NCT appointment continues. This is a major problem afflicting all motorists. It cannot be resolved if top Government officials prefer to avoid working towards a solution. – Yours, etc,
