Sir, – “Breathwork, affirmations, gratitude” is the advice of Dr Brian Pennie on how to make your mornings less stressful (Joanne Hunt, “How to make mornings less stressful: A simple routine can set you up for the day”, Weekend Review, December 17th). Useful advice.
However, I find that making my bed, tidying the bedroom and admiring the achievement deliver a huge sense of accomplishment before I face the challenges of my average day. – Yours, etc,
