Sir, – We are used to columnists quoting their previous utterances to show that events have turned out just as they predicted.
But the estimable Ken Early cites his football forecasts for 2022 to show how he got most things wrong (“2022 was the year I impressed myself with how frequently my predictions were wrong”, Sports, December 26th).
