A chara, – Paul Connolly’s highlighting of a transient global amnesia (TGA) episode during a swim (Letters, January 12th) is timely given that the World Ice Swimming Championships are currently being held in Samoëns in France.
Of the 31 Irish swimmers, 12 are Limerick Narwhal clubmates and, while we have plenty of access to local rivers and lakes, we look forward to training more safely when Corbally Baths in Limerick City are recommissioned. – Is mise,
