Sir, – After watching the brilliant Irish rugby team defeat France, I boarded a Dart to take me to Malahide. The Dart was packed with passengers returning from the game. As we pulled out of Raheny station I looked up at the electronic board to be informed that the next station was Killiney (the other side of town). This was soon confirmed by a public announcement.
After that we were informed we were coming in to Dalkey.
I could clearly hear confused passengers, some French, wondering if they were on the wrong Dart. Good-natured passengers explained to them that they were, indeed, on the way to Malahide. Irish Rail should address this matter and make sure it cannot happen again. – Yours, etc,
BRIAN McKENNA,
