Sir, – Ireland is to spend hundreds of millions of euro as part of a plan to boost the supply of doctors, nurses, dentists and vets (News, June 21st).
Can we take it that part of the plan will address the desirability of having these professionals spend some time working in Ireland? The money will hardly be well spent if they work and pay their taxes in Australia. – Yours, etc,
