Sir, – Further to recent correspondence (Letters, August 11th), in Switzerland there has always been an intermission halfway through a movie, the reason being that smoking was never allowed in the cinema. So smokers were given time for a cigarette and others got goodies and stretched their legs.
Watching Oppenheimer this week, an interval was most welcome. – Yours, etc,
